Amphetamine Drugs Are Relatively Easy to Synthesize if the Chemicals Are Available

I wanted to post this because its extremely easy, if one can get there hands on P2NP (Phenyl-2-Nitroproene) and Mercuric Chloride (HgCl2) which are both available if u know where to look, then u can make tons of Amphetamine very easily! the product of this synth id d,l-Amphetamine. Which is not the same as the pure D-Methamphetamine produced by the rp/i reaction of pseudoephedrine. But Amphetamine is still good, and still a very euphoric stimulant, just not the same as D-meth. I think its just a fun reaction, its very easy, done in one flask, doesnt take alot of time, and if u can get ur hands on P2NP, u can literally make pounds of this stuff. Also i wanted to say, i dont expect anyone here to actually make this, even if someone could help someone get P2NP, its just more viable and easier for most to get some pills and make the stronger more desirable D-Methamphetamine. But i just wanted to post this to show how easy it could be. And its really fun if u have P2NP. Ill post the synth and then if anyone has any questions feel free to ask. This is for a 5 gram reaction. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Amphetamine Sulphate Synthesis Items Needed: 5 grams P2NP (Phenyl-2-Nitropropene) 50mL Isopropanol (Iso-heet, antifreeze, autostore) 7.5-8.5 grams of Heavy Duty Aluminum Foil (grocery store) 50ml Glacial Acetic Acid (hobby chemical supplier, pm me ill tell u where to get it) 50 grams Sodium Hydroxide (drain cleaner hardware store) 1ml Sulfuric Acid (liquid fire drain cleaner is 99% sulfuric acid) 1. Mix 50ml of the GAA with 25ml of Distilled Water in flask. 2. Dissolve 5 grams of P2NP in 50ml of warm Isopropanol (IPA). Let sit till cool. 3. While the IPA solution is cooling, we need to make the Aluminum Amalgam. Cut the aluminum foil in 1×1 inch squares. Then put the foil in 200ml of dH20. Add 50mg of Mercuric Chloride, and stir. After 5-10 minutes u will see grey sludges in the jar, that means the amalgam has started. Wait 10 more minutes, then wash the aluminum 3 times with water to get rid of all the mercuric chloride. 4. Add the aluminum amalgam into the GAA/water mix. Wait 3-5 minutes the solution will turn grey. Stir it. 5. Add the P2NP solution and stir. After 5-10 minutes the reaction will start goin good. Let the flask stay for 20-25 minutes. 6. In this time the solution will boil, so u need to have some kind of condenser on top, if u cant get a real condenser (which u should), then ill post a pic of a ghetto implementation. 7. When the reaction is over put on hotplate and reflux for about an hour. You really should get a condenser for this, they are cheap and will last forever. You can skip the reflux but the yield wont be as good. 8. After 45 minutes the stuff will start to look a little pink. 9. When reflux is over let cool to room temperature and youll have a red/yellow solution. 10. While the solution is cooling, in a seperate glass container mix 50g of sodium hydroxide and 50ml of water and stir to make sure it mixes well. Put in freezer until its not hot anymore. 11. When both solutions are cool, slowly add the sodium hydroxide solution to the reaction mix. You DONT want to do it too fast because it will react violently and might jump out of the flask. So add slowly and stir after each addition. 12. When done adding there will be 2 layers. Use a pipette and suck up the top layer. Put this in seperate glass. Now add 20ml of Dichloromethane to the mix and shake/stir really well, then let settle, this time we want the bottom layer, use a pipette to suck up the bottom DCM layer and add this to the first layer we pulled. Add another 20ml of DCM and repeat one more time, combine all the DCM pulls and the first layer we pipetted. Combine the 3 pulls together. 13. Now this has our Amphetamine freebase. Now we need to convert the Amphetamine freebase into Amphetamine Sulphate. We make a solution of 1ml Sulfuric Acid/5ml Isopropanol. Drop by drop add the sulfuric acid solution to the DCM/amphetamine solution and stir alot. You will begin to see the Amphetamine Sulphate crystallize out of solution. 14. When done adding the solution, setup a coffee filter inside a funnel. Pour the Amphetamine solution into the filter. Then let dry. 15. Now youll have a slightly red/dirty Amphetamine Sulphate. Do a recrystallization to get pure white Amphetamine Sulphate. Now you have to admit, if you had access to P2NP wouldnt that seem really easy? And if you had pounds of P2NP u could make tons of Amphetamine very easily and quickly.
